LISTER
D

My dependable Lister D, given to me by Lee & Mark Frost. They purchased it at a Wessex Stationary Engine Club Ltd. Clear out jumble. They fitted a new valve to replace the bent one and got it running fine. Since I’ve own it I have only needed to clean and re-set the Magneto. It will thump away for hours.

A BSA, Power Pack, 120cc, purchased with a Howard Bantam Rotovator brought at the Fairford auction in 1998. My colleague and I found we were both after the same lot but he only wanted the Villiers throttle lever that was fitted and I just wanted the engine so we decided to go halves and would bid up to £20 max. We got it for £1.00 (50p each). I ended up with the engine and rotovator. The Rotovator is still awaiting refurbishment. |

CLINTON

Clinton, type 400-0160-088. In as found condition. A small engine, but required a lot of work to restore it. Gifted to me by Mr. Burnell Sparks.
PETTER A1

Petter
A1 in as found condition. Also gifted to me by
Mr. Burnell Sparks.
It was both these two engines (Clinton and Petter) that got me started in this
restoration game.
