The front axle required a replacement centre axle
support bracket and new king pin sets. |

The
engine was a mess, the big-end bearings were shattered and crankshaft
journals scored. The crankshaft was a
re-ground by Hurley Engine Services of Bath who also fitted new liners
and pistons to the original engine block. The fuel injection pump
was overhauled by Tom Day Ltd of Keynsham. I rebuilt the rest of
the engine, fitting new components, including a new oil pump, as required. |
The wheels were hand restored using an angle grinder fitted with a tufted wire brush and hand painted. |
