Let the restoration begin! - There's never enough room!

The front axle required a replacement centre axle support bracket and new king pin sets.

Sorry, there's not too many before and after photos on this project but I didn't know my son was going to design me a web site for everyone to see!

The engine was a mess, the big-end bearings were shattered and crankshaft journals scored.  The crankshaft was a re-ground by Hurley Engine Services of Bath who also fitted new liners and pistons to the original engine block.  The fuel injection pump was overhauled by Tom Day Ltd of Keynsham.  I rebuilt the rest of the engine, fitting new components, including a new oil pump, as required.
The wheels were hand restored using an
angle grinder fitted with a tufted wire brush
and hand painted.
